Polar passion

Polar passion

In my first blog post I discussed my why.   In this, my second blog post I’m simply going to give you some homework, hopefully pleasurable and something that can be done while jogging, doing chores or other tasks.   I’ve been guiding and leading voyages to the Arctic and Antarctic for many years and am completely enamoured with the polar regions, their hardy inhabitants and remote rugged landscapes.  During lockdown, earlier in the year I decided I would interview some incredible people, who have dedicated their lives to science, conservation or exploration in the polar regions or a combination of all three.  There is a rich human tapestry to explore, characters to admire and lessons to be heeded and acted upon urgently.   So in the spirit of my first blog, in pursuit of my why I’ve recorded interviews with some extraordinary people.  There are more interviews in the works.
